Summary: The exhibition, which can get connection with both international supplier and local companies will soon to be held from 18-20 August 2016 at Tatmadaw Hall in Yangon, Myanmar. Receiving the support from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), Myanmar Restaurant Association (MRA) and Myanmar Retailers Associations, the 3rd Myanmar FoodBev and 1st Myanmar Retail Expo will be the key sourcing platform as well as an industry gathering serving the rapid expansion in this industry. The exhibition will showcase over 80 brands and companies across Myanmar and Southeast Asia including Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. “Myanmar’s growing demand for food products and beverages sourced from around the world contributing to food and beverage imports totaling US$1.6 billion in 2012, moving up from US$415 million in 2005” said project director of ICVeX.
